K-water NEWSLETTER water for the happier world Issue 111 K-water Monthly Magazine Building a Happier Korea with Water Putting K-water’s Social Value into Action K-water has set a ‘roadmap for action on social value’ to fulfill its responsibility as the sole public water management company of Korea and to promote national water welfare. K-water has made continued efforts to enable all Koreans to enjoy the benefits of the nation’s water resources by introducing the regional headquarters system for integrated water management, enhancing working processes, pursuing internal innovation for the establishment of an open management foundation, and promoting cooperation and co-prosperity with SMEs and local communities. By this roadmap, K-water sets out to put social value into action particularly in the following five fields: water rights, safety and environment, jobs, customized services, and clean and responsible management. Focusing on these fields, K-water will achieve water welfare for the entire nation to enjoy, raising their quality of life and pioneering the way into another 50 years.
