The Korean Government has launched K-City Network program to promote the successful Smart City model in Kore, which is led by the Korea Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (MOCT) and Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Support Corporation (KIND). The K-City Network aims to foster government-to-government (G2G) smart city collaboration and enable Korea to share its experience and technologies around the world. This article summarized K-City Network project including Vietnam Mekong delta smart city project and the New Capital City project in Indonesia. Those smart technologies applied in Busan Eco-delta City (EDC) presented for the future discussion. The design of Indonesia NCC is rooted in the vision to create a capital city as a mirror of national identity, a sustainable city and a smart and modern city. The implementation of the Smart City will be supported by a smart infrastructure system in every aspect of the city elements with utilization of information and communication technologies (ICT). In the field of water management, the following technologies will be proposed and implemented in the project: (i) intelligent operation of water network, (ii) technologies for low impact development, (iii) decentralized water supply system, and (iv) modular type water treatment plant. The key barriers and enablers for SWM implementation is summarized in the later part.
