For 1 month operation, the removal efficiencies of VFCW with 0.4 m/d and 1 m/d on BOD, TOC, SS, TN and TP were 87.3%/84.0%, 27.3%/24.3%, 91.6%/87.7%, 50.3%/33.1% and 83.5%/72.9% respectively. Except TN and TP, there were no big differences between two VFCWs. In case of TN and TP, higher removal efficiency was shown at low filtration velocity. Therefore, in order to get higher efficiency of TN and TP, VFCW should be operated with lower filtration velocity. |
