Generally, the planktonic and periphytic organisms show the composition and density differences depending on water quality included extenal and internal pollution sources and various ecosystem structures (e.g., reservoir geomorphology, hydro-meteorological and high-level biological components. In addition, although it is temporary, an artificial water-level drawdown due to civil engineering work can lead to unexpected effects such as the sudden occurrence and the concentration of freshwater red-tide, Peridinium bipes. This study was conducted four times to compare the distributions of water quality, phytoplankton and zooplankton in reservoirs with different watersheds of forest and urban from June to November, 2018. |
