Two single-chamber MFCs with different anodic materials were operated with a real fermentation filtrate of primary sludge. Two MFCs showed COD removal efficiency below 50%. Two MFCs showed completely different voltage generations according to HRTs. S-MFC with CNT-coated with SS showed higher voltage generation than G-MFC with graphite felt. Two MFCs showed slightly different microbial communities depending on the electrode material. |
