Climate Change, Urbanization, and Population growth are global stressors that are increasing the uncertainty of resource which is necessary for human activities. OECD(2012) predicted that resources demand of water, energy and food will be increased by 55%, 80%, 60% respectively in 2015. Resource security has been threatening by this uncertainty and aggravation of imbalance between the supply and demand of resources. Especially, climate change, which is very impactive to global water crisis, is the most critical crisis and common challenge for humanity. Much effort has been made to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) and the Water-Energy-Food (WEF) Nexus has attracted worldwide attention as a new paradigm to reach the resource security goals established in the SDGs. WEF Nexus is begun to be discussed at Bonn 2011 international conference in earnest and on the rise as concept of the most interested to resource security in the world. |
