K-water is fulfilling R&D of ‘Development and demonstration of Francis turbine system lower than 1MW class’ with an uni, a SME. Francis turbine is the most commonly used a type of a reaction water turbine, and the test turbine was designed for the 70kW small hydraulic turbine as a model. The hydro model turbine test facility at K-water had been built by K-water and KETEP(Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning) during hydro turbine development of national R&Ds. K-water built a turbine test facility in 2013 by the standard of IEC 60193. |
