Through the pre-treatment of excess sludge, phosphorus was successfully recovered as hydroxyapatite and improvement of removal efficiency of phosphorus was also confirmed. Therefore, pre-treatment of excess sludge is thought to be one of the key solutions for the production of external carbon source and phosphorous recovery. |
