This study was analyzed to assess the apprehensive sub-watersheds of non-point source pollution area using HSPF model. The Juam dam watershed was divided into 29 sub-watersheds and watershed model was performed for the evaluation of flow, BOD, TN and TP in Juam dam reservoir from 2009 to 2012 with warming period of 2009~2010. Results of the watershed model showed a good agreement with the field measurements of flow and water qualities. The non-point sources loadings were calculated averagely 8.8 kg/day/km2 in 2011 and 9.1 kg/day/km2 in 2012 of BOD, 9.7 kg/day/km2 in 2011 and 10.1 kg/day/km2 in 2012 of TN, 0.30 kg/day/km2 in 2011 and 0.33 kg/day/km2 in 2012 of TP. The non-point source loading of Bonghwa stream watershed was calculated and assessed particularly in the upstream of Boseong river. Also, Miryeok, Jangpyeong, Yuleo, Guam, Seokgyo, Mundeok, Incheon and Bongnae stream watersheds with high agricultural area were assessed to be apprehensive area for non-point sources management. In this study, HSPF was applied for the selection of non-point source reduction facilities in Juam dam watershed, where it is evaluated to be appliable or non-point management. |
