| Quantitative analysis of source water PPCP by offline SPE with Orbitrap MS and tandem MS |

For trace quantitative analysis of PPCP in water, LC-tandem MS has widely been used. Relative dynamic range is narrow, high resolution and accurate mass spectrometry like Orbitrap MS is method of choice, because the absolute sensitivity is similar. This study compared the quantitative performances between Orbitrap MS and tandem MS. As a sample pretreatment, conventional HLB solid phase extraction (SPE) and methanol for extraction was used. Moreover, newly identification for ‘known unknown’ candidates was reviewed from real samples. |
