The Ministry of Environment in South Korea has developed a total of 95 small desalination plants(Capacity 7,582 ㎥/day) to supply drinking water to islands residential. 39 plants of theses have been operated by K-water(Korea Water Resources Corporation). 21 of 39 plants is located in West Sea. The objective of this study was to compared the fouling characteristics of reverse osmosis based on the pre-treatment system of seawater desalination plants operated in Juk-do and Yuk-do islands in the west sea. |
