A submerged air-cathode microbial fuel cell (SA-MFC) was evaluated according to cathode materials and anode-cathode surface area ratios (A/C ratio). When a C-cathode (capacity deionization electrode) with catalyst (CuPC+FePC), a C-cathode without catalyst and a M-cathode(CNT-base MFC electrode) with (CuPC+FePC) were applied to SA-MFC, the maximum power densities were 1.5 W/㎥, 5.2 W/㎥ and 5.5 W/㎥ respectively. |
