K-water is a public company that manage water treatment plant, dams, hydroelectric power plants and related facilities. In recent years, the investment of K-water in renewable energy is expanding such as solar, wind, temperature, etc. K-water has operating a temperature difference system (a total of 10 places, 535RT) and under construction Lotte World temperature difference system (capacity 3000RT). In addition, introduction of the temperature difference system(approximately 560 ㎿) is planned by 2021 K-water with a dam, water treatment plant, pipeline and as a mediator of the adjacent buildings can reduce heating and cooling energy with which means that the optimum conditions. The available potential heat energy through the domestic river is estimated at more than 190,000 per year. In this paper, we will be introduced study on heating and cooling energy savings using the unused temperature difference energy between pipe water and air using the unused temperature difference energy between pipe water and air.
