The nanotechnology is one of the rapidly growing industry due to the substantial
benefits in economic and scientific parts. However, concerns have been raised that
nanomaterials could potentially lead to unexpected health problems which is called 'toxic
activity of nanomaterials'. Despite the stabilized new nano-materials recently in environments
or human body, the powerful oxidation/disinfection water treatments may destroy the
structure of nano-particles and it would increase the toxic potential of nanomaterials. This
paper investigated the health effects of nanomaterials under the powerful
oxidation/disinfection water treatments by conducting the toxic activity experiments.
