| The Real-time Water Odor Monitoring System Using Electronic Nose |

The concentration of 2-MIB and Geosmin in water could be detected at 1 ng/L, which is threshold value of them, using an electronic nose. The water criteria of 2-MIB and Geosmin is 10 ng/L in Korea. When the samples are outside of the upper 10 ng/L concentration, the samples are considered as being not good water quality. Successfully discrimination of unknown concentration in blind test (100 ng/L group) has been obtained. In our further study, we need more investigation about mixture odor compounds in water using an electronic nose. |
