Construction of dams on the river brings significant changes on river's environment running water to hydrostatic condition and will lead to big changes in hydraulic Characteristics, water quality and ecosystems.
When the flooding starts, various organic compounds which remained in submerged area such as the remnants of plants and soil adsorption materials contribute to water quality deterioration of the initial period of flooding.
When the water-logging starts, the initial organic matter concentration of water columm is rising rapidly and reduced gradually after 3-4 years similar to the previous level of river conditions.
And is the source of the initial water quality deterioration, freshwater reservoir and its adverse effects on water quality for extended periods of time. But, the causes of changes in water quality is not clearly identified so far.
As a result, cause analysis of water quality change and preparation of water quality improvement measures or precautions is needed for quick stabilization of water quality.
The purpose of this study is to obtain the corresponding technology against water quality deterioration in water resources(dam construction) development project and to ensure eco-friendly water management technology.
