The control point management system based upon GIS is required to manage bench marks. The function of control point
management system was developed to establish the prototype of integrated water management. GIS tools, which have
been operated in K-water, are considered to interwork between thematic maps and control points. GIS tools are
programed with ArcObject component in dot NET environment. This system provides the search, add, edit, view and print
functions as shown in figure 1~3.
New bench marks from spirit leveling and the control point management system based on GIS play an important role in
the installation of facilities and the operation and management of the experimental catchment. It is expected to greatly
contribute to build reliable hydrological data for future systematic experimental catchment management.
