Influent water quality of STP(Sewerage treatment plant) is affected by seasons or
time zone. Thus according to the real-time influent pattern control of air flow on aerobic phase is
capable of strategy for saving blower power. In this study carbon source(BOD) and ammonia(NH4-N)
which is output of anaerobic phase of A2O process is simulated by air flow control system which
composed of MRA2(influent realtime analyzer) and KM2BM(biological process simulator) of Dr. Wastewater
ver.3. Then required oxygen of aerobic phase is calculated using this BOD and ammonia concentration.
The result of simulation, amount of required oxygen by Dr. Wastewater ver.3 have shown to be
much lower than the traditional method.
