Multi?path ultrasonic flowmeter has been used as an accurate flow measurement method and is on a growing trend. However, the installation standard has been not established yet, so it led to lots of confusion on the field installation. Therefore, it is in need of minimum straight run to ensure the accuracy of the measurement from the flow disturbance factors. So that experiments were performed by using multi-path flowmeters that have less than ?0.5% accuracy, 4-path 1 unit, 2-path 1 unit are of foreign-make, 5-path 2 units are of domestic products, to determine straight run under the above conditions.
