Citarum River Basin(CRB) is located in the West Java, Indonesia and its surface & groundwater resources are critical to social and economic development of the country. However, the increased number of natural disaster such as flood, droughts, and environmental degradation due to the rapid urbanization caused to arise people’s attention about proper water resources management. These attention brought the necessity of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) system development and Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved a Technical Assistance 7189-INO which was composed of 5 different subcomponents. One of the subcomponent D was to establish a Decision Support System (DSS) for IWRM in CRB by ADB’s nominated partner K-water and its budget ($800,000) for the first step was funded by ADB between Oct. 2010 to Feb. 2012.. |
