In order to solve the limitations and problems of conventional big and centralized water supply system, small and decentralized water supply system has been actively studied nowadays. However, the expansion of decentralized water supply system has been urgently required for the research and development of renewable energy and the improvement of energy efficiency.
Thus, this study showed that the energy independency could be improved through the applicability analysis for renewable energy such as solar energy, small hydro power, raw-water source energy etc. And, we proposed the control algorithm and the optimal operation management method to improve the efficiency, using DC power distribution, lighting control, BLDC motor control, integrated operating system, and wireless instrumentation system. In the conclusion, we got the result that its efficiency was 30% higher than the conventional centralized water supply system. Because of that, it is expected that the decentralized water supply system would be extended in various fields.
