A raw water source heat pump, installed in a water treatment facility has many rooms to enhance the performance, because it doesn’t reflect the characteristics of water source. In this study, it was attempted to expand the application of the raw water source heat pump in water treatment facility through comparing its performances with those for an air source heat hump. The dynamic characteristics of both the water and the air source heat pump were investigated by using of TRNSYS. The performance of the raw water source heat pump was verified by the test data from the Cheongju water treatment facility. Besides, the performance of the air source heat pump was verified using the measured data of the Siheung water treatment facility. The average heating and cooling COPs of the simulated water source heat pump are 2.85 and 6.2, respectively, and the average COPs of the air source heat pump are 2.47 and 5.1. |
