Characterization of various physical phenomena occurring in fill dam is quite important in aspects of safety management and maintenance. Dam engineers always are seeking to find correct and timely characterization and/or implementation of the corresponding countermeasure. In this paper, a field characterization of dam with internally-deteriorated part was studied based on geophysical surveying, boring, laboratory tests and numerical analysis. |
