There are some calibration method for flowmeter that is gravimetric, volumetric and reference meter method. Gravimetric method is a more accuracy other method but it need to high cost. After convert weighing collected flow into volumetric and compare to volume of under tested meter. A weigh bridge is a very important component for flowmeter calibration facilities using gravimetric method. It consist of a cylindrical tank with load cell using measure the weight of collected water. On this study we are verify that an effect of improvement after replace tension type for compression type load cell to solve the problem of repeatability. In conclusion, we confirmed that tension type is of great advantage to maintain the measurement accuracy more than compression type load cell. |
