When an aquifer is located adjacent to a river which rolls recharge boundary, the groundwater level of the aquifers is directly influenced by river discharge variation. Groundwater level fluctuation can be reasonably forecasted by numerical modeling only in the conditions of sufficient data for the accounted aquifer system. |
