The method to estimate unsaturated hydraulic conductivity from Guelph permeameter was suggested in this study and the method has been applied in the area, Kimhae Ddanseom in Nakdong River where riverbank filtration(RBF) intake has been planned and now facilities are being constructed. It is believed that the surface saturated and unsaturated hydraulic conductivity obtained in this study can be most important factors in groundwater modeling for determination of recharge ratio and boundary condition for river. The distribution of surface hydraulic conductivity shows that the relative finer particles sediment in downstream direction and this imply the southern part of Ddanseom has a favorable potential of high specific capacity in RBF intake compared with northern part |
