Long-term Research were conducted to elucidate changes of major aquatic environment variables during dam construction project according to environmental impact assessment (EIA) from 1996 to 2006. Primitive alluvial (lotic) environment changed into reservoir (lentic) environment according as time passes. Also, it become that water depth is more deeper toward downreservoir near the dam and retention time increased. Aquatic nutrient condition was changes from oligotrophic to mesotrophic and eutrophic state. But, trophic state in downreservoir has been always sustained to poor nutrient condition. Freshwater algal community was react most sensitively with different environment.
The algal community was composed with diatom, green algae, and blue-green algae. It was changed sequentially. Blue-green algae is predominant flora in present.
