- Power density which has been utilized as a conventional performance index in PRO, drops dramatically as the scale of process grows and it is incompatible with SWRO and MD.- To compensate it, a new performance index was developed and it can be used regardless of the scale of hybrid processes.- As result of testing, it was found that SWRO-MD-PRO can outperform SWRO-RPO as much as 150% maximally, Additionally, it was verified that SWRO-MD-PRO can be more advantageous than SWRO-PRO even with the inflow of external heat energy for MD to some extent.
