K-water is building a closer relationship with its customers through multi-regional water supply systems that provide equal benefit to the whole nation

The multi-regional water supply system is a facility designed to provide water to more than two local governments. It is equipped with large-scale pipelines and water treatment facilities. This facility is recognized as the most efficient way of allowing the whole nation to evenly enjoy the benefits of water, to achieve balanced regional development, and to help remove the problem of water shortage even during relatively long droughts. In the future, K-water will build a better relationship with the public by offering better services, which can be achieved through systematic construction and management of multi-regional water supply systems.

Management of Multi-regional Water Supply Systems

In order to resolve water shortages in some regions, and to create efficient countermeasures to weather problems such as drought, an integrated management system has been established to provide water for drinking/industry/agriculture by dividing the nation into 9 areas to cope with emergency situations through mutual assistance. Moreover, K-water continues its utmost efforts in supplying safer and cleaner water through improvements of water supply facilities and system automation, which also leads to lower costs and improved efficiency.
